Created an artwork illustration of Marina Bay Singapore featuring different landmarks and attractions located along the area.
Marina Bay Sands is one of the landmark located at the Marina Bay and is an architectural icon which boasts the impressive skyline, hotel, the casino and the shopping mall. It is designed by the impressive architect Moshe Sadie. The skyline is tall and instantly recognisable.
Singapore is a city where cultures come together and I wanted to convey a message through my artwork illustration of one of the iconic landscape view of Singapore.
I had offered an illustrated look on the lovely and stunning landscape of Marina Bay to celebrate the month of National Day Singapore.
For this artwork, I had used a variety of medium including photography, digital illustration, drawing and sketching. I used a pen and fine felt tip marker to darken the pencil marks that make up the finished drawing of the landmarks. Characters are further added to the sea landscape against the backdrop of all the landmarks and skyline to convey a fun, playful and warmth atmosphere.
The different landmarks drawn on the backdrops are the super tree and flower dome of Gardens by the Bay, Singapore Flyer, Marina Bay Sands Hotel and Art Science Museum.
The goal for this illustration is to create the conditions for a happier liveliness urban environment where everyone of all age and culture can enjoy and interact with one another, developing ties that have traditionally been the backbone of our country. I had illustrated fun interesting characters to convey a fun, playful and warmth surroundings for everyone to enjoy.
I hope to amaze everyone with this artwork and provide an element of surprise which thrills everyone. Reimagining the city, portraying a fun and joyful atmosphere at this place called Home.
