Today is the Chinese Lantern Festival which is the 15th of the Lunar Chinese New Year and marks the end of Lunar New Year celebration and hail the arrival of the Spring season.
I have specially illustrated this artwork which consists of the backdrop of Fountain of Wealth located at Suntec City Singapore.
Presenting a harmonious joyous scene of the snake zodiac, accompanied by the splashes of water from the fountain and characters releasing the sky lanterns with wishes for Singapore.
This year, it is not just about celebrating the snake zodiac sign but also celebrates SG60, which is the 60th year of Independence for Singapore.
Lanterns are scattered around the fountain slowly ascending to the sky with well wishes, creating a splendid display at night.
