Chinese New Year is an important festival in the Chinese culture and is widely celebrated by the Chinese in Singapore. Chinatown Singapore is a location and hotspots for celebrating the Chinese new year. This year signals a wonderful year for everyone in Singapore as the Chinese new year celebration returns to liven up the streets of Chinatown after a 2 year of virtual celebration.
One of the main highlights of the festival is the street light up and various other activities.
I had drawn Lucky Chinatown, a shopping mall with traditional Chinese architectural style design. The shopping mall is located at New Bridge road, the heart of Chinatown. It has very distinctive Chinese oriental architectural facade.
As this year is the year of rabbits, I have crafted 10 cute rabbits with different cute Chinese new year greetings inside the artwork.
