21 Carpenter has recently opened its door to the public in Singapore in December 2023 and has become Marriott Convoy design hotel 2nd property alongside Warehouse Hotel in brand portfolio.
It occupies the notable remittance house Chye Hua Seng Wee Kee which was founded in 1936. The building has been carefully restored by award winning architect firm WOHA.
I have sketched out the exterior design of this boutique hotel which sits across a historical 4 storey heritage shophouses building located along Carpenter Street, just within walking distance of the busy Clarke and Boat Quay.
I have added a creative tourism touch to the artwork and hopes to pay tribute to Singapore cultural heritage and at the same time celebrates the opening of this elegant boutique hotel.
