Summer View Hotel is a Hotel that is located centrally around the Bencoolen Street.
It is a lifestyle hotel choice that provide a comfortable home experience with designed rooms.
Created this illustration to pay tribute to some of the fabulous hotels in Bencoolen Street. There are quite a number of hotels located in this street and Summer View Hotel are one of them.
Rebecca is a lady who loved art and architecture. She loved this hotel as it has modernly designed rooms and restaurant serves delicious porridge buffet. It is a hotel that focuses on experience of consumers and placing themselves in the shoes of guests.
Creativity and art have no boundaries, no limits. If you can think of it, you can make it happen. I enjoy making artwork and inspired by one of my favourite architect Rem Koolhaas, created this illustration.
Artwork itself are designed in such a way to spark everyone’s curiosity, revolving the idea of a wonderful staycation in Summer View Hotel.
Architecture produces inhabitable immersive art while fashion gives us an art to wear. I liked the particular architecture design of this hotel and created a technical drawing of building in black and white first. I try to show only lines with different thickness.
In the final colour piece, I render out drawings using digital paintings. I try to use colours that closely matched the hotel itself and at the same time created another fashion sketch, making sure that the overall artwork combination brings curiosity to visitors.
