Inspired by the popular Netflix’s American Comedy, “Emily in Paris”, I had illustrated four of my favourite outfit looks worn by Emily Cooper.
This Serie which stars Lily Collins, the American Actress as Emily Cooper had caught my eye ever since it debuts its first episode on 2nd October 2020. and I loved the French girl style.
Darren star who is also the creator of Sex and the City is the creator of this comedy drama.
The story revolves Emily Cooper, a marketing executive from Chicago, whom is being hired by a marketing firm in Paris. The main cast includes Lily Collins as Emily Cooper, Lucas Bravo as Gabriel, Camille Razat as Camille and Mandy Park as Mindy Chen.
Although Emily cannot speak French, she brings her enthusiasm and a can do attitude to her new office in Paris.
If I had to name the most stylish character of the year 2020, my choice would be Emily Cooper, a.k.a Emily in Paris. The show is fun , hilarious with charming cliche. The cinematography looks splendid, we can see beautiful locations of Paris. There are a mixture of travel, fashion, comedy and romance everything together in one drama.
The show is such an inspiration to me that I decided to illustrate some of the outfits wore by Emily in this artwork. Lily Collins looks so pretty and beautiful and I like how she dressed up in this drama.
Fashion style is totally subjective but there are some favourite outfits that Emily wore throughout the show. The four outfits which are my favourite includes the black and white checkered suit, the hot pink coat, the yellow and black combination satin dress with black belt and the blue floral dress with leather Moto jacket.
The yellow colour flowy dress is timeless and it look so feminine. The checkered suit would look best without the red beret. The Paris pink coat with long sleeves and pockets look so elegant would be more suited for winter. My personal favorite is the blue floral dress with leather jacket. It is beautifully designed with notched collar, zippered cuffs with genuine leather and I love the light lilac colour.
