This is the illustration of Victoria Theatre and Victoria Concert Hall, one of Singapore’s oldest performing art venue with its Palladian, the European architectural style design.
The architecture of the building is greatly influenced by the Neoclassical style. it is a complex of two buildings and a clock tower joined together by a common corridor.
Victoria Theatre is an iconic landmark in the city of Singapore and it is a challenge to illustrate this historic landmark.
I had made an effort to drop by and gather details, information including the perspective, colors, depth from the building and come up with this piece of artwork.
It has been a challenge for me and I enjoy illustrating this as it takes me a lot of focus and has help me evolve and push my skill forward to another level.
It has also in another way enable me to have a deeper knowledge and understanding of art and illustration.
