Rebecca is inspiring and elegance and she is a lady who has keen interest in the religion and culture from different countries. She prefers baggy clothes and maxi dresses.
Offset, she is usually dressed in luxury shade of knee length skirt and off shoulder top but for a visit to Buddha Tooth Relic temple in Chinatown Singapore, she opted for a Mulan inspired outfit. Comfort and casual cool is important to her. Her biggest motivator is her mother.
I hope to inject a sense of liveliness in her outfit by painting it bold red. Plain red robe and sleeves that flutters in the wind. Women’s clothespin the Tang Dynasty are characterised by bright colours and flows materials and typically featured elongated puffy sleeves, with an emphasis on high waist and consist of long floating garments that reached the floor.
Rebecca had wanted to gain more insight into buddhism culture and hopes that through Singapore rediscovering temple trip, it will enable her to know more about the rules and beliefs of buddhism.
The Buddha Tooth Relic temple is built in 2007, is located in the historic district of Chinatown and its unique interior heritage design and comprehensive buddhist art exhibits tell the stories of the buddhist culture. The architecture is inspired by Buddhist temple during the Tang Dynasty. The temple by itself is modern, clean, serene and peaceful. There is four floors and a roof garden. Most buddhist devotional practices include making merit and receiving blessing.
Rebecca took part in the buddhist ritual and the chanting inside the temple and receive blessing from the monks.
